I take my laptop literally everywhere I can. I like to have an additional battery that will last a while. The laptop is already hefty so this battery didn't add too much more weight. It boosted the rear upward so it helps with viewing the screen when I'm in laptop mode. It helps me to get a better grip on the body when in tablet mode, although I would not try to carry the laptop by the battery as one person said he tried to do. All in all, I'm glad I made this purchase.
