Apple Airport Express Review
4.0 from 5
As far as extending an existing network and stregthening its signal, I haven't seen it do that very well. What is does do well is create a wireless network where you only had a wired internet connection previously. If you're staying in a hotel or at somebody's house who only has wired internet, plug the ethernet cable from the wall or modem into Airport Express, let your laptop find it, follow the on-screen instructions, and you have wireless internet. If you're experiencing difficulty getting the solid green light on the unit to remain lit (meaning you have a proper connection) or your laptop won't find it, reset the Airport Express. To do that, hold down the reset button with a pen or paper clip until it starts to blink fast, then release. Wait a few minutes and your computer should be able to find it.
